I'm SO close to 300 fans on Facebook!  I have decided that once I hit 300 fans on Facebook, I'm going to give away a crocheted bookmark!  I haven't decided what design I want to give away yet, and actually I might let the winner decide!  I will use random.org to choose the winner, once I hit 300 fans!

Wednesday, I went into the hospital to prepare to be induced to have Justin.  I am pleased to say that my sweet baby boy make his appearance into our family Thursday afternoon!  He was 8lbs, 21".  Pretty much exactly like his big brother.  He's such a sweety & so good!  Of course, I know it's early & he sleeps a lot, but I don't mind.  I am very much in love!!

I have been watching Linda Peterson make such awesome things with Friendly Plastic.  I have been waiting for an opportunity to take one of her classes (I have to sell a few of my creations before I can do that).  I just entered a contest to win a pound of Friendly Plastic designer modeling sticks!  I really hope I win, I just LOVE learning new things!!

I just signed up to be a Rings & Things Blog partner!  How exciting for me!! :)  They pick 10 random blog partners every month to receive a goodie pack of Rings & Things stuff to try out!  I'm SO stinking excited!!

Artist of the month for May?  ME!  Yep, I was featured as Artist of the Month over at Giddy Greetings!  Other than my girl, Monica being super duper cool.  This was super duper cool for me!  See, I've been doing crafts for fun for the past 10 or so years, with a few jewelry sales in between.  I've been mostly making stuff to give as gifts to friends & family.  I have a really hard time not giving away my stuff!  Someone will say, "Oh, how pretty!"  And, I say, "Here, have it"  It's just how I am.  So, when people started buying my creations, I was just beside myself! 

Monica is such a sweet woman!!  She has such a passion for quilling & creating!  I am so blessed to have become friends with her!  She's helped re-ignite my quilling passion!

Monica also is a GREEN crafter!  Go visit her GREEN blog!  She & her GREEN crafty friends are making the world a better, prettier place!

I was also inspired to make mini food magnets!  I recycled a magnet that was on the front of the phonebook & glued it to the back of them!  They're so tiny & cute!

Yeah!  I figured it out!  Anyways... I've just met Erin through Facebook & being featured in her treasury is SO neat for me!!  I really love crafty networking!  Us crafty people have to stick together!

Evidentally, it's been 14 days, 23 hours, 22 minutes and 52 seconds since you I logged in, and they were starting to get really worried.  LOL  It's just been really busy with getting ready for Justin & baby shower & being tired, etc. ;) 

I did have a creation featured in an Etsy treasury this week!  That is just SO exciting for me!  The Sweet Summer treasury by Erin's Jewelry Creations is so full of beautiful stuff!  You should really check it out!

So, in the mean-time... I'm just working on crafts, spending the summer as a stay at home mom (for the first time) & getting ready for Justin to be born! 

My friend, Tracy got a new iPod touch for her birthday.  She showed me how she was using her husband's old cell phone case to carry it.  I asked her if I could crochet her a cozy for it!  It's her birthday, after all!

I used some deep blue chenille yarn that I found stashed at the Goodwill & a button that my friend Monica had sent me in a crafty care package!  I made the strap long enough so she could wear it around her wrist!

Today, I was featured in a really COOL blog!  It's purple week over at the Cool 2 Craft blog!
